Richard Olliver
Richard is the investment manager for Impact Capital. Richard spent over 6 years with Australasia’s leading investment bank - Macquarie Bank - in Macquarie’s Wellington, Sydney and London offices. At Macquarie, Richard initially provided corporate finance advice and progressed to project managing complex cross border financings and finally ended up assisting Macquarie acquire assets and businesses across Europe. Prior to Macquarie, Richard completed spells with accountants PwC and also Carter Holt Harvey in New Zealand. Richard’s role at Impact Capital is to source, analyse, and invest in business opportunities.
Richard holds a LLB and B.Comm from the University of Canterbury and is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of New Zealand.
Richard is married to Paula and is currently based in Wellington. A self-proclaimed ‘golf-nut’ he will often be seen roving the fairways on weekends.
